The Lancaster Flood research Hub was a project conducted in response to the eVolo Skyscraper competition 2023. I was part of a team with Will Cowper, Quinn Warner and Ndidi Emeka-Nwigwe.

 

The aim of the project was to reimagine a ‘skyscraper’, to design a mega-structure with a particular location in mind and imagined technologies. Our structure was designed around Lancaster and had three main goals: the building to be a physical flood defence; to have a practical research/data collecting element and to also be interactive, making it beneficial as a learning and teaching tool for the surrounding community.
