This is an ongoing passion project. The aim is to create several small paintings of villain characters from literature and to turn the art into printed bookmarks.

I started this project because of my love for storytelling especially through art and, as a big reader, the characters themselves. 

A lot of my art uses existing poses from historical art and uses influences in style from different eras of historical art because it is something that I love to research and feeds my affinity towards perpetually learning. I wanted to reflect different historical styles and types of art in each of the painting I created.
